karen's here. we've been having fun but we have set off a crazy imbalance in the universe. my car got broken into and my digital camera, cd player, and frankie's cellphone all got jacked. a kid ran off with all three of my cd cases but this guy carlos chased him down and i got that back. he was only like 12 years old and the cops came and told him to stop his crying. it was rough.
there is no pot in the entire town. we almost got in trouble with a creep because karen was very happy to have found some weed, but after he told her he had a chihuaha "this big" (raise hands to knee level) i knew it was time to book, although karen really wanted to meet the dog. it was crazy. it has been a really crazy time. we went on a swamp tour today which was fun. im taking a nap now. see you all in three days. love you!

i spent all day laying down carpet at my place (it looks great) and putting together my friend sarah's furniture with her. i am so tired. i think I'm going to get a job driving the all-night van service at the university. that'd be right up my alley. 11 bucks an hour too. night folks.

I had to call Mahard Egg Farm Inc. for work for some shit or whatever, and I called the number that was in this contact book, and it gave me this phone sex hotline! At first I was like maybe it is just their marketing pitch, along the vein of "she's got the urge! oh! yes! yes! yes!" but i slowly realized this person on the phone was soliciting me for phone sex. hilarious. totally made my day.

yesterday my family and I got carry-out at Venus, this chinese food place in park ridge that makes vicki throw up. I ate a fortune cookie at the end of my meal, and it said "Visions of a happy romance are in your near future." well well well. Then, I had chinese leftovers for lunch today at work, and I ate yet another fortune cookie. This one said "Visions of a happy romance are in your near future" fuckin crazy huh? what are the chances of that happening? The same fortune in a row? weird

I have been in such a good mood for like a whole week! it's great. I have been inspired to create things, and what a better time to start than summertime (summa summa summa tiieem, i just sit back and unwind). Vicki, I cannot wait to see you, and I also cannot wait to turn 21(although I cannot wait to see u even more) me and kelly might go for a walk in the forest today. Or I might call matt m. for a "favour" (these are a few of my favorite things! lum dee dum da da dee dum!) In some ways I like my job. I get to surf the 'net for hours upon hours, and I get to feel really cool compared too these squares, and I get to talk to myself whilest in the bathroom or walking down the hall.
Has anyone seen Sybil, a 1976 movie starring Sally Field as a schizophrenic? it is fabulous. marisa, i think you'd really like it.
i bought a movie camera on ebay for $70 the other day. it was an impulse buy, but i don't regret it. I shall have fun with my little toy, with or without kelly.

hey everyone. I was tired last night, I didn't even go out or anything. My family and I spent the whole day planting flowers and bushes around our house. it looks so nice! we have this really pretty japanese oak right in the front. the branches are so droopy (like kelly the elevator operator) and romantic. it was so hot outside and I got so dirty. it was great. sorry I didn't get to see you k-ron before you left for new orleans, but whatever, I'll see you in a week or two. the pride parade is this sunday; anyone want to go?? it should be a fun time. well, I am at work now. this job would be perfect if I had instant messenger up in here. (up in hea!). hahaha.
p.s. - Aeon Flux is such a weird cartoon. i luv it. (kelly does too...right kelly?)

I've got GERD like a wino from Giordano's and beer. Natalia might move into my pad with me. I like those shows on the discovery channel where British people build things in junkyards (there's another one now). Sometimes I wish I hadn't gone the academic route so I could be taking the bull by the horns right now instead of not knowing where the hell I am going, but in the long run, every little thing is gonna be all right. Also, we'll see if I'm actually any good with my hands as I've been saying for a while when I put siding on my garage and possibly build a fence for my backyard. My mother suggested that as a way to reconcile my debt to her instead of blowing all my money from my summer job (?) on rent. I'm willing and able, a quick study, and excited to try. Home improvement here I come! But first, I have to clean 8000 years worth of accumulated junk out of my bedroom. I figure if I can do that, I can do anything. I was looking through my bookshelf the other day and I found shit like Shane, The Big Book of Dinosaurs, and a photo album with pictures of me and my first girlfriend, as well as pictures of the original band (incl. Ben Carney on Xylophone). Jeeze. It's been a long time since I rock and rolled! BURRRRP. oww.

marisa - chocolate cake would be splendid. i prefer that white frosting with the poisoncandycolorballs in it. man i cant wait to eat cake. pot cake! let's make potcake. im turning 20. twenty years old. goodbye teens, hello something else. ive really enjoyed being 19. it's been a fucking blast. i also really like saying "im nineteen" to people because they're always shocked. especially the men. hahahah. this guy jordi at work was like, "you freak me out bicki! you really, really freak me out" when i told him. he's a good guy. gave me a ride home and told me to email him a picture of budapest. im sooo outta here in 6 days! WOOHOO! 6 days!! only three more times washing dishes. i love this town. im done now.
