"Also, I will be arriving in chicago at 4:12 in the afternoon on saturday, does anyone want to pick my sorry ass up so I won't have to deal with home for a few hours. One free cup of coffee to the lucky winner. mmm....recessed filter...."
This was the scene on the nineteenth of december, three short days ago. Stephanie "Stepha" P., a widely acknowledged attention sponge, thought she might have difficulty arranging a ride home from the airport. The question now, prosecutors say, is whether she thought she would have difficulty... or a good time. She put out a cry for help on an internet based discussion group called a blogger internet web site, claiming that she needed a ride from the airport but did not specify why her parents would be unable to pick her up. Arriving at the airport a little early, one of Ms. P's friends, a sucker whose name will go unmentioned, waited around for P's delayed flight, until he bumped into his old friend and partner in comedy crimes, one George P. They suffered through an awkward pause while G.P. asked what said unnamed sucker was doing at the airport, and said unnamed sucker wished he could ask his old partner the same question. Ms. P allegedly foisted her luggage upon her parents, made some absurd giggle-apologies, asked them for some american "cash-ola" and made a zippy getaway in a small american economy sedan. Ms. P was "passed out" and unable to take calls. G.P. did not answer the phone. ---JC
