I am currently writing a paper for my social inequality class, and a thought just occured to me. I was reading an essay and I just realized that at one point in our history all black poeple were slaves without any material possesions. When they were emancipated, they suddenly had to make their own way in the world. An entire group was placed at the bottom of the class system, and ever since then they have been working to gain ground. I know that this is an obvious fact and I may be sounding a little naive, but even so blah blah blah i think i made my point.

Is it really war spurring my/our boy craziness? Listening to Lauryn Hill, hearing a plane get louder, having a reaction of "this may be the one that takes me out" although the palm reader told me I'd live to 100 and beyond. I still get feelings of my own mortality, I'm taking a passive role in it. "From the dark night can arrive the sweet dawn". Ah sweet dawn, everything's an aphrodesiac.
