i am so confused over the whole situation that i cant even elaborate more than that.

This is unbelievable. My mother called my sister sobbing this morning about how worried she was for me. She told me to stay home today. Chicago cars that are downtown are being towed. New York just saw destruction. There really aren't words to describe everything that is going on and I'm not even in the States. Everyone write me, I want to know that you are okay. I love you all.
